101 uses for WinCounter (continued)

Some of these uses are serious applications and others are a light-hearted look at the possibilities. 

The list continues:

  1. Add voice prompts to WinCounter and have it play a welcome message to arriving guests.
  2. Attach it to a refrigerator door and check up on your eating patterns.
  3. Set up WinCounter on the door so that it plays a sound saying "You're  late" when your teenager arrives home at 1:30 AM.
  4. Attach a temperature switch to monitor and report on whenever the temperature falls below a specified level.
  5. Attach a remote sensor to your cow to count how many times it has been abducted by aliens.
  6. Have a button you press each time you are interrupted during the day. WinCounter can report on your workflow efficiency.
  7. Attach it to your bedroom light switch and see how often you are in your room with the light on.
  8. Connect a microphone with a sound level switch and monitor the times when the sound level goes over a specified threshold.
  9. Attach WinCounter to your office door and analyse how often you are interrupted during the day.
  10. Set up WinCounter as an alarm to monitor people walking into a 'no admittance' area.
  11. Use voice clips as sounds and WinCounter will play a reminder prompt as you open the refrigerator door.
  12. Mount WinCounter on your teenager's door to record when he/she emerges from his/her room in the morning.
  13. Attach WinCounter to your dog kennel and find out how often your dog leaves during the night.
  14. Put a switch on your cat door and check up how often cats come and go.
  15. With a switch attached to your chair WinCounter can count how many times you leave your desk.
  16. Connect a microphone to WinCounter and use it to record how many times your neighbour's dog barks.
  17. Use WinCounter to play a dog barking sound in response to every time your neighbour's dog barks.
  18. Use WinCounter on a pet shop door and set up the ‘sounds’ feature to play random animal noises.
  19. Put a sensor by your bed and monitor how many times you roll over in the night.
  20. Add short voice quotes as as a theme to the sounds and have WinCounter play a different quote each time you walk through a door.
