WinCounter is a 32 Bit Windows application. It is designed to run on Windows 2000 or Windows XP. It is possible to run WinCounter on a Windows 98SE computer. Please contact us for information on this.
The basic requirements are a computer with a Pentium II (or better) CPU with a minimum of 32 Mb of RAM and at least 500 Mb Free space.
The system needs a free serial port (Com port) to connect a sensor.
If you want to read the help file you will need to have Internet Explorer version 4.0 or greater installed on your system.
We recommend at least 500 Mb free space on your hard drive to run WinCounter. Every time WinCounter is triggered, the data file it uses to store the date and time of the trigger grows by a small amount. If you use WinCounter in a scenario where it is being triggered very frequently, the data file that stores the trigger information may grow to be quite large. In this case, we recommend you have a 20Gb or larger drive with plenty of free space to accommodate your data file.
