Do you need help working out what you need? There are many different choices for installing sensors or switches for WinCounter. We can advise you on the best solution for your situation. Please contact us and let us know how you would like to use WinCounter and we will provide a recommended configuration and pricing.

If you already have a sensor or switch you can purchase WinCounter software licences separately. WinCounter comes in Professional and Standard Editions and support and updates are provided on an annual subscription basis.

	WinCounter additional sensor licence. (i.e. for each additional door)	$59.95

	WinCounter annual upgrades and support subscription per sensor	$9.95
The WinCounter software licence needs to be activated once the software has been installed. You must purchase a separate licence for each computer that WinCounter is installed on.

We can provide everything you need to get WinCounter working for you. Sensors, software, a WinCounter Interface (a special plug to connect it to the serial port on your computer). When you place an order, you will need to let us know how much cable you require and the local electricity requirements for a power supply. Please  email us at   for package deal pricing. Some typical examples of package deals are:
	Single sensor package. WL260 retro-reflective beam sensor, mounting bracket, reflector, plug-pack power supply*, serial cable with built-in interface. WinCounter software licence and a one year update and support subscription.	POA
	The same as the package above but this includes a WinCounter Professional Edition software Licence. The Professional Edition has additional features that make it more suitable for multiple sensor and multiple store scenarios. See here for more information on the extra features.	POA
	Additional doors can be monitored by adding sensors. This add-on pack includes an additional WL260 sensor, additional sensor software licence and a one year additional sensor update and support subscription.	POA

 

Sensors

All sensors require a WinCounter Interface (a special plug to connect it to the serial port on your computer). You should specify how much cable you require when you place an order. Cable and a suitable power supply must be ordered separately (see pricing below). There is a wide range of sensors available. Some common sensors are:
	WL260 retro-reflective beam sensor. This sensor produces a light beam which is reflected back to the unit from a polarised reflector mounted on the other side of the door opening. Installation requires cable to one side of the door. It works well for openings up to 10 metres wide and is easy to align using the built in LED indicator. This is a water-proof and dustproof industry strength sensor (rated IP67). Comes with a mounting bracket and reflector. Cable is connected via terminal screws.	POA
	Long range thru-beam outdoor sensor. This sensor produces two invisible beams that can cover an opening of 30 metres. It can be installed outdoors as it is waterproof and frost resistant. It uses a transmitter and receiver so cable must be run to both ends. Each unit has a visible laser for accurate alignment and dual beams to reduce false triggers. Cable is connected via terminal screws.	POA

There are many other sensors available that will work with WinCounter. Please contact us if you require a sensor that is not listed here or have special requirements for a sensor.

Switches, cable etc.  There are many different switches, cables sensors etc available. Please contact us to discuss your requirements. Some typical examples of are:

	WinCounter serial port interface and cable. This is serial port connector fitted with an electronic circuit that optically isolates a sensor from your computer. This enables you to connect your own sensor to WinCounter. Specify the length of cable you need when you order this unit. (see pricing below)	POA
	Push button switch suitable for doorbell or bench-top (with WinCounter interface and 3 metres of cable) Many other types of switch are available such as hand held press button or door-operated switches  Email us at for pricing. See below for wireless switches.	POA
	Cable for any of our sensors of switches that require a cable and Interface. Please specify that you require extra cable at the time you place your order. (per metre)	POA
	Plug-pack power adaptors. You will require a plug-pack suitable for your local electricity supply. Please contact us for power supply requirements.	POA

Wireless options

	Wireless receiver for remote switch. Includes cable and interface for connecting to the serial port of your PC. At least one two button transmitter is required to work with this unit. Requires plug pack or batteries.	POA
	Two button key chain wireless remote switch (works with receiver above) This is ideal for manual counting. eg. A person greeting patrons at a door can click this switch to count people entering or leaving. Battery included.	POA

Most of our sensors come with cable and a serial port interface with a 9 pin D-Type connector for connecting to your computer. If you require more cable to mount your sensor make sure you specify the amount of "additional cable" with your order.
